New investment in Dietach optimizes production processes and shortens set-up times
The new eccentric press creates near-series production conditions at the Dietach/Steyr site. This enables weba to form pre-series parts under realistic conditions and to adapt the forming tools precisely to the specific requirements of its customers. This accuracy ensures that the tools function optimally and meet the highest quality standards.
An outstanding feature of the new press is the ability to test large tools live. With an impressive sliding table measuring 5 x 2.5 meters, even very large punching and forming tools can be tested directly in the production environment. This considerably shortens the set-up and buyoff times at the customer's site. The actual commissioning of the tools can therefore take place almost immediately after delivery, which speeds up the start of production considerably.
“This investment brings us even closer to our customers,” explains Hannes Feuerhuber, Managing Director of weba Werkzeugbau. “We can now react even more flexibly and quickly to the individual requirements of our customers and offer them tailor-made solutions.”
The expansion of production capacity in Dietach underlines weba's innovative strength and commitment to always keeping its finger on the pulse and offering the best technological solutions. This is a further step in the consistent further development of the company, which has been growing steadily since it was founded in 1982 and has established itself as a reliable partner in the automotive industry.
With over 300 qualified and dedicated employees at two locations, weba combines state-of-the-art technology with in-depth expertise to offer its customers innovative and high-quality solutions. The new eccentric press is another example of how weba is further strengthening its position as market leader and focusing on the needs of its customers.
